About JagIQ
JagIQ is a WhatsApp-first student-management platform operated by JagIQ (UDYAM Registration No. UDYAM-GJ-09-0071496), a Micro Enterprise registered under the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. Registered address: Flat 139, Swagat City, Gujarat, India. Major activity: Services.
By creating an account or using JagIQ, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
WhatsApp Communication Consent
JagIQ uses WhatsApp Business API (powered by Meta) to communicate with you. By checking the consent box during sign-up, you explicitly agree to receive the following categories of WhatsApp messages on the phone number you registered with:
Authentication Messages
One-time passwords (OTPs) and verification codes used to confirm your identity when signing in or performing sensitive account actions.
Utility Messages
Transactional and operational notifications directly related to your account or institution — including fee payment reminders, fee collection confirmations, attendance alerts, batch schedule updates, test results, and other class-related communications.
Marketing & Promotional Messages
Occasional updates about new JagIQ features, platform improvements, offers for institute administrators, and relevant announcements about the JagIQ platform. You can opt out of promotional messages at any time by contacting us.
Message frequency varies by your account activity. Standard data rates from your telecom provider may apply. Your consent is recorded with a timestamp when you complete sign-up. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting support@jagiq.in, though withdrawal may affect your ability to receive OTPs and critical account notifications.
Use of the Platform
- JagIQ is intended for educational institutions — administrators, teachers, and students — for managing classes, fees, attendance, and communications.
- You must provide accurate information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- You may not use JagIQ to send spam, illegal content, or any messages that violate Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy or applicable Indian law.
- JagIQ reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or misuse the platform.
Data & Privacy
We collect your name, phone number, and optionally your email address to operate the platform. Your phone number is shared with WhatsApp Business API (Meta) solely to deliver the messages listed above. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data is stored on servers within India or on cloud infrastructure governed by equivalent data-protection standards. JagIQ complies with applicable provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).
Limitation of Liability
JagIQ is provided “as is”. We are not liable for delays or failures in WhatsApp message delivery caused by Meta, your telecom provider, or factors outside our control. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for the service in the preceding three months.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via WhatsApp or email. Continued use of the platform after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance.
